because today i bring you a childhood FAVORITE but FRIENDLY on the waistline!
and protein packed, which means a perfect afternoon pick-me-up to help keep you full so you don’t grab into that candy jar at work…
SlapTastic Protein Rice Crispy Treats
that you can make ANY flavor you want! i stuck with peanut butter, because who DOESN’T like peanut butter..
no really, unless your allergic, you have to like peanut butter. it’s like a law, right?
Peanutbutter Protein Rice Crispy Treats
2 1/2 cups rice cereal (i buy mine in bulk… bc i love cereal.. like a lot) –clicky here
1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 cup calorie-free pancake syrup – if you don’t like this stuff, you can use honey or regular syrup
1/4 cup Jiff Whipped peanut butter
2 scoops Peanutbutter Slap Protein (use code TAYLOR for 10% off, holla!)
step 1: toss those rice puffs into a big bowl
step 2: add in almond milk, syrup, and pb
step 4: stir stir stir!!!! until it’s all goopy and try not to lick the spoon, yet.
step 5: line a pan with parchment paper (i’m a parchment paper whore, if you haven’t learned this by now) then dumb that peanut butter ricey goodness on, and spread out evenly!
step 6: pop in fridge and let sit for 4 hours or until hardened.
slice into 6 squares and ENJOY!!!
and again you can do so many combinations with this base recipe, like chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, anything and errythang!
now you can get all nostalgic with your beloved rice crispy treats, just this time you won’t need to undo that top button on your pants! WIN!
