my new love

is gorbanzo beans.
i can’t get over how versitilie they are. i’ve literally created like 5 things since my blondies with them.. both sweet and savory stuff!
so to kick off your monday, i bring youuuuuuu
Gorbanzo Muffins!
they’re actually gooooey like brownies/cookies. not fluffy, but really dense and moist. which is exactly the way I like my baked goodies. so i guess they wouldn’t really be considered a muffin then? YOU decide whatever they are and we’ll just go with that.
the macros of these babies though…. are ON POINT. which is a win for me as i’m prepping for a show. nothing like baking and not being able to eat ALL some of it, because i can have been!
so here we go
Gorbanzo Ooey-Googey “Muffins”
i still can’t think of what to call them, clearly
whatcha need:
1 can gorbanzo beans
1 scoop Chocolate Slap Protein powder (use code TAYLOR for 10% off!)
1/4 cup avocado
1/4 cup calorie-free syrup
2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
pinch of baking soda
*put oven on 350 degrees*
step 1: drain beans and get all that gas outta them!! then pop them into a food process and blend until creamy!
step 2: toss in 1/4 cup avocado and syrup. process until completely mixed
step 3: add in 1 scoop protein powder and blend again!
step 4: with a spatula, get all that deliciousness cookie-dough(muffin dough) and plop into a bowl.
step 5: add in chocolate chips and stir up!!
put a dollop into 8 greased (i use coconut oil spray) muffin trays and bake in oven for 12-15ish minutes or until gold and risen!
and inhale!!
