mango guacamole

i mean… guacamole.
who doesn’t love guacamole?!
and you know what my absolute go-to for sides to bring to gatherings is?!
my easy-peasy mango guacamole!
why?! because i can control what goes in it, it’s a few simple ingredients and it’s so damn refreshing!
with fourth of july festivities coming up this weekend, i wanted to share with you this easy dish so you can take along with you to a gathering!
because nothing like being at a social event and all the snacks and dishes are loaded with bad fats, processed sugars and a bunch of other stuff that may lead to a week’s worth of hard work, derailed.
so my number one rule is to always make my contribution a healthy one, that way if there are no other healthy options, i know i have mine to crush enjoy!
so you ready to introduce a sure-to-please (aka: gone in 5 minutes) summer-fresh guacamole?!
here ya have it, enjoy!
Mango Guacamole
Whatcha neeed:
1 avocado, ripened
1 mango
cilantro
lime juice
yep, that’s IT! those 4 things. think you can handle that?!
step 1: dice up your avocado and place into a bowl, smash up to your liking! i usually like to leave a little small chunks.
am i the only one who thinks avocados are really pretty? yes? no?
step 2: peel and dice up your mango, toss in with avocado. sprinkle in your lime juice and cilantro!
done! serve within a small window since avocados change to that funky color when sitting out for awhile.
i always take a bag of blue chips and raw veggies to serve with mine. pretzels are good too!
