i don’t know about you, but i cannot keep those sheets or better yet logs of pre-made cookie dough in my fridge.
because when i go to bake them.. well.. maybe like two get into the actual oven. the rest…
somehow go missing.

because cookie dough is just so.. doughy… and heavenly.
or the best, is when you were little and would be baking with your grandma and she wouldn’t let you lick the spoon because you may get salmonella? but you snuck a swipe anyways?!

by the way, did any of us bakers ever get salmonella?! i’ve licked many ‘a bowls post-baking all sorts of egg-included goodies and never got sick.

regardless. i needed some cookie dough in my life the other day, so i dissected my blondies recipe and figured i could totally tweak some things and turn it into straight cookie dough.
and eat it exactly like it’s suppose to be eaten. right outta the bowl you’re baking it in. but GUILT free!
easy on the waist line. and actually filled with wholesome, real ingridents.
can’t beat that right?!
so you ready for some egg-free eat-it-right-outta-the-bowl then take a spatula to the rest cookie-dough?!
Edible Cookie Dough
step 1: in a food processor (i own this one and LOVE it) process your rinsed and drained chickpeas, syrup, almond butter until smooooooooth!
step 2: with a spatula, scoop out all the dough and place into a bowl, fold in chocolate chips then either DIG RIGHT IN!
orrrrr if you have a little self control stick it in the fridge to harden a little then scoop on out!
